KfW Study: industrial energy efficiency potentials unused

According to a study by KfW entitled "Hindrances and success factors of energy efficiency in the company", about half of the economically viable potential for energy savings in German industry is not being used. Main causes are financial restrictions and poor information levels. Sometimes, possible investments in energy efficiency projects also collide with investments into the company's core business.
