International financial accounting rules still unclear

Posted by Melody in Managing

The chairman of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), David Tweedie, said that the international accounting rules to account for EUAs will not be ready before April. The new rules have proved difficult to apply to the EUAs. "We are still working on this. There are different views on this, with three to four of the standards affected," he said. The free allocation of EUAs, to be represented as government grants, seems to be especially tricky.
The German Federal Ministry of Finance has already issued recommendations for Germany, as has the IDW (German institute of accounting).
