Climex Spot Platform Order book improved

On request of market participants an improvement to the Order book of the Climex Trading Platform will be implemented as of Thursday 18 March 2010.

The Order input screen, which used to be a stand-alone feature in the system has been integrated with the Order book screen. This means that at the bottom of the Order book an order input module will constantly be available, and the Order book remains visible whilst entering or amending bids and offers, as shown below.

Quickly entering orders can be done in two way’s.
1. As before, clicking on the ‘respond to this order’ button will automatically set the selected product and buy or sell in the new order input module which now remains visible. Filling out the Price and Quantity and clicking ‘post’ will submit the order.
2. It is also possible to select the product and buy or sell directly in the new order module at the bottom of your Order Book screen. By selecting the Product type and Order type, filling out the Price and Quantity and clicking “post” you can submit an order.

When clicking the ‘modify order’ button. The order details will appear in the new order module, Price and Quantity can be changed, and the order can be resubmitted.
